Every 10 years Ferrari brings us something special. First there was the F40, then F50; the Enzo code named the F60, and reports are that the design for the F70 has been finalized. Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo has already said that the car will debut before the end of the year.

No official images of the car have been released yet as ferrari are trying to keep the project under tight wraps . It was penned by Ferrari designer Flavio Manzoni who also designed the VW Golf MkVI. The body and chassis will both be made from carbon fiber, and the design is said to be a three-arc design. That means there will be an arc for the front fenders, arc for the passenger compartment and arc for the rear fenders and engine.

The engine is the one thing that we know about the F70. Ferrari has confirmed it will use a hybrid version of the  new V12 from the F12 berlinetta using Ferrari’s HY-KERS system. Weight for the F70 is slated to be around 2650lbs In comparison, theEnzo weighed 3300lbs.
