ISO 200 | f/ 3.2 | S 1/8 | @40mm | lens: f/ 2.8 40mm micro Nikkor

This was a first attempt at using a macro lens and it proved to be really fun. It turns out you can take the lens to a point where its only a few centimetres away from the subject. It seems the toughest task is really just getting the lighting right. The photo’s above were taken using an SB-800 speed light mounted on the camera.
